Longest day………..
Gosh…………hard to believe that the longest day has just passed. 2021 in some ways feels very long but in others is flying by. Is that an age thing? What do you think? As a child when you were waiting for a special day, birthday or Christmas perhaps they never seemed to come but now they come far too quickly!
Lots going on at Celtic Treasure including new makes with some colour. I occasionally work with stones and love the rich colours of these three pieces. Inspired by the colours of the plants on our regular walk to the beach perhaps? It’s difficult to know where the ideas come from as I know I see and file things “upstairs” all the time, for use fairly quickly or sometimes years later.
There is a special offer on the website currently, if you would like to subscribe to our newsletter there is a 10% discount on orders over £50.
We were back at Colwyn Bay Artisan Market on Saturday 19th and once again had a great day. It was lovely to see so many returning customers and to meet new ones too. The market is held on the 3rd Saturday of every month.
Garden news…………..lots of lovely things to pick and eat at the moment. New potatoes, delicious and peas so fresh and sweet that they don’t make it as far as the kitchen let alone the saucepan. Plenty of salad leaves of all sorts and baby carrots, beetroots too. What is everybody else growing?
We have deliberately left areas in the garden untouched and also added a pond many years ago. It started off as a very shallow little puddle when the children were small but later we made it much larger and many hours can be spent sitting by it watching all the goings on including frogs, newts and we’re lucky to have a family of water shrews.
Talking of nature this is a particularly dreadful scenario

Please if you care about our natural world contact your local MP, sign petitions, share posts and articles, whatever you think will help to stop this. The thought of future generations not seeing these beautiful creatures is so sad. We must not let it happen.
Thank you
