Lovespoon daffodil pendant

Sterling silver lovespoon and daffodil centre pendant.

The pendant measures approx 37mm x 10mm and is supplied with a 45cm sterling silver belcher chain.

A Celtic Treasure gift box is included in the price.

A  pair of daffodil earrings (studs or drop ) are also available to complete the set.

The Welsh craft of lovespoon carving dates back to the 17th century. Young men would carve a spoon in wood to show their interest in a young lady. Designs included hearts (love & affection) teapots, houses (I will provide for you) and knotwork (eternal love/lives together).
