Lovespoon double heart earrings

Sterling silver Welsh lovespoon drop earrings with hook wire fittings.

The lovespoon design features interlocking hearts.

Each lovespoon measures approx  20mm x 9mm and the earrings are supplied in a Celtic Treasure gift box.

A  matching pendant is also available.

The craft of lovespoon carving dates back to the 17th century. Young men would carve a spoon in wood to show their interest in a young lady. Designs included hearts (love & affection)teapots,houses (I will provide for you) and knotwork (eternal love/lives together).
