Lovespoon double heart pendant (small)

Sterling silver double heart Welsh lovespoon pendant.

The design features interlocking hearts and is supplied on a 45cm sterling silver belcher chain.

The pendant measures approx  20mm x 9mm and a Celtic Treasure gift box is included in the price.

A  matching pair of earrings are also available.

The craft of lovespoon carving dates back to the 17th century. Young men would carve a spoon in wood to show their interest in a young lady. Designs included hearts (love & affection) teapots, houses (I will provide for you) and knotwork (eternal love/lives together).
