Lovespoon twist heart earrings

Twist heart Welsh lovespoon earrings in sterling silver.

The lovespoons measure approx 20mm x 6mm and have hook wire fittings.

The earrings are available with a mirror finish heart or a hammered/beaten finish heart.

A matching pendant is also available to order.

The earrings are supplied in a Celtic Treasure gift box.

The craft of lovespoon carving dates back to the 17th century. Young men would carve a spoon in wood to show their interest in a young lady. Designs included hearts (love & affection) teapots, houses (I will provide for you) and knotwork (eternal love/lives together).
